Zombie workers

Zombie workers are one automation method, not the whole system.

Zombie workers can operate supported production tasks once the required systems and workstations are unlocked. The same processes can also be driven by the game's other automation modes, so this page lists what a worker can run instead of treating every zombie as a production switch.

These targets are ranked by how many automated processes consume them, not by opinion: an output that feeds many other processes pays for itself across the whole chain.

66 items carry a documented answer without a confirmed automated path. That is not the same as manual-only: the data simply does not document a process that produces them.

Which workstations can a zombie worker run?

46 workstations allow a zombie worker to be assigned. Pick one in the workstation list to see exactly what it runs.

What do I need to unlock automation?

12 published technologies add a workstation that runs automated processes. A technology unlocks the station; the station is what runs the process.

Why is my worker not producing anything?

Every documented process lists its requirements: inputs, an assigned worker, worker mastery, the tool, and the recipe unlock. Open the diagnostics above for a target and work through them in order.
