How this map works
Locations come from the game data and the official map coordinates: no position on this page is estimated. A location that sits inside an interior area is linked through its entrance instead of being forced onto the overworld map, so a marker is either a real position or an honest explanation of where to look.
- Plotted positions
- A marker placed by the game's own world projection. It lines up with the map background because both come from the same frozen transform.
- Interior locations
- A place that lives inside a building or a separate scene. The map keeps the entrance on the overworld and says so in the panel rather than inventing a marker.
- Layers
- Layers keep the map readable. NPCs, vendors, fishing spots, entrances and waypoints are on by default; resources, fights and automation are heavier, so they stay off until you ask for them.
Map questions
Where are the NPCs in Graveyard Keeper 2?
Turn on the NPC layer and search a character, or open the NPC list below. A character can move as the story and the day progress, so the panel lists every position the data records and says which one the marker is drawn at.
How do I find a fishing spot?
Search a fish rather than a spot. Every fishing marker is one fish in one spot, so a result tells you which spots hold that fish and fits the map to all of them.
Why isn't the NPC where the marker is?
The marker follows the highest-priority position in the data, and a story step overrides the normal schedule. The panel lists the other recorded positions, including the story ones, so you can see where the character is likely to be.
Why are some locations not shown directly on the map?
Some places only exist inside an interior scene, with no position on the overworld. Rather than pin them at a guessed spot, the map keeps the entrance visible and explains the interior location in the panel.
How do resource respawns work?
Each resource node records how it comes back: a node can regrow, be replaced by a smaller one, or never return. The panel shows which models the data records for the item you selected.
