Graveyard Keeper 2 Walkthrough

Follow the progression, see what each step requires, and find what to do next when you're stuck.

This walkthrough is ordered the way the game itself orders its quests: every step lists the quests, items, standing, access and technologies the game data records as required before it, and what finishing it opens up. It is not a story summary and not a chapter list. Tell the page where you are and it turns into your current objective, what is still missing, and the next thing to do.

Where are you in the game?

Find your place in the walkthrough by the quest you are on, by something you have just unlocked, or by the thing you are trying to reach. Nothing is uploaded: your position lives in the address bar, and the ticks you add live on this device.

What did you unlock most recently?

These are the systems, buildings, shops and recipes the game hands out earliest in its own requirement order. Pick one and the walkthrough marks the step that unlocks it as the one you are on.

✓ Complete, ● Current, ○ Available and 🔒 Locked are derived from the quests the game data records as required before the step you picked. Nothing is read from a save file, so a step marked complete means the game requires it earlier, not that your save has finished it.

Path to Herm

This is the shortest route the game data documents: the quests required before the one that grants it, in order. Steps that are already on the progression path above are only repeated here because the route needs them.

The route, in order

Any of these quests grants it. The route above follows the earliest one, which is the shortest way the game data proves.

Your current step

This is the step your position points at. Everything below comes from the game's own data for it, so you can check what you still need before you walk back into the game.

Main progression

The game ships no chapters, so this page does not invent any. The steps below are the prerequisite order the game data records: a step is only placed after the quests it requires. Longer lines are longer chains of required quests, not more important ones.

Key progression unlocks

The technologies, buildings, shops and recipes the game data records as unlocked by a quest, shortest path first. Each one is answered with the route that reaches it, which is the quickest way to the answer for "when do you unlock this".

Progression that stands on its own

The game records no prerequisite link between these quests and any other quest, so they neither block the lines above nor depend on them. What each one unlocks is still listed, so you can decide whether it is worth doing now.

Why can't I progress?

Pick the step you are stuck on and the page lists what the game requires before it, what the quest itself asks you to bring, and which step to do next.

How this walkthrough is ordered

Every step, requirement and unlock on this page comes from the game's own data, not from a written guide. That is why the page can answer "what should I do next" without inventing a chapter structure the game does not have. Where the game records nothing, the page says so instead of guessing.

Why the steps follow the game's own order

A quest is only placed after the quests the game itself requires before it, and a technology, building, shop or recipe appears under the quest that grants it. A step the data cannot place is left out rather than guessed at, so the order you read is the order the game enforces.
